Fashion Goes To The Movies: TTF’s Best Dressed

With film festival season well underway, all eyes and ears have been steadfastly hooked on the talent of the big screen. Well, everyone’s except for ours. Although we at Styleite do appreciate an insightful storyline and a moving on-screen message, what we really look forward to at each film festival are the fabulous fashions and styles sported by the year’s most noteworthy actors.

The Tribeca Film Festival, which came to a close on Thursday, is never one to disappoint in the fashion department. With its laid-back trendiness and cool attitude, the TFF is the festival to see some of the best fashion moments of the season. Silver screen stars never fail to entertain fashion fiends like us, and always offer an unexpected mix of high-end glam and downtown chic.

To keep the thrill of this Manhattan mainstay alive a little while longer — we can’t bear to let it go just yet — we’re recapping some of the festival’s most noteworthy ensembles…

Kirsten Dunst in Nina Ricci

Jessica Alba in Proenza Schouler

Kate Hudson in Louis Vuitton

Rebecca Hall in Givenchy

Amanda Seyfried in Viktor & Rolf

Kristen Bell in Chanel

Not really a fan of Kirsten Dunst’s dress or Kate Hudson’s cape neither seems like what I’d expect from a New York film festival. The best were Amanda Seyfried’s dressy shorts; she’s quickly becoming one of the most fashionable women in Hollywood. Also liked Jessica Alba’s dress and matching shoes (it’s mainly the shoes).
