Taylor Momsen Remembers Her Pants, Forgets A Shirt
When we begged Taylor Momsen to put on some pants, that didn’t mean she could then take off her top. Last night, Momsen feted the launch of Material Girl for Macy’s — the line designed by Madonna and Lourdes – in the way only she can: in an inappropriate outfit paired with sulky pout.
She wore knee high leather boots, poorly fitted hip huggers, a zip-up and barely-there bustier, all topped off with a cropped leather jacket — all black. She looked like a Material Girl, without much material. And for the record, awkwardly long extensions do not count as an accessory or a cover-up.
In light of the audience at Macy’s Material Girl launch — most likely an average age of 14 — we think Taylor could have put on some more clothes. We know how important it is for her to not conform and everything, but a normal sized tee shirt never hurt anyone.
