Abbey Lee Kershaw Page 1
Despite having been absent from the runway for quite a few seasons, top model-slash-actress Abbey Lee Kershaw seems to be channeling a certain headline-grabbing London Fashion Week show in her latest music video with her band, Our Mountain. Why? Well, much like Pam Hogg‘s fearless catwalkers, Kershaw and her three male bandmates are entirely nude throughout the arty, three-minute-long film.
Is is just us or does Tom Cruise look seriously bizarre on the June cover of W? Let’s discuss.
Abbey Lee Kershaw, big time model and BIG time street style crush, is rumored to be kicking off her acting career with a role in the new Mad Max movie.
We’ve seen the billboard, the confessional videos, and the 30-second commercial spot. Now we have a far more naked video to add to our obsessive coverage of Calvin Klein‘s awesome new ck One campaign. Behold: models doing things in their underwear!
Sometimes modeling looks like a cakewalk. Sometimes it looks harder than honors-level calculus. But it’s still a job, and like all jobs, there are some people who are naturally very good at it. Australian supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw is really good at it, and thanks to Calvin Klein‘s new cK One ad campaign, we now know why.
We’re suckers for clever marketing tactics, and Rag & Bone‘s latest guerrilla ad campaign has us smitten. Marcus Wainwright and David Neville teamed up with creative agency Laird+Partners to develop the advertising scheme, which involves 1,000 posters (and even more fliers) plastered all over walls and deli boards across downtown Manhattan.
In what we have to imagine is an unprecedented coup, that sparkly gold Balmain dress has landed a seventh cover. Yes, count it: seven. The same dress that Natalia Vodianova infamously wore sans smooth legs is now also on the cover of December’s British Elle, worn by Anne Hathaway. Did we mention this is the dress’s seventh cover appearance? (That’s almost double the amount of covers that appliqued Miu Miu number had!) Like we said, unprecedented.
Alexander Wang‘s”Wall Street-inspired” Fall 2010 collection will be the first of his collections to be featured in a real, live ad campaign! And if that bit of news doesn’t pack enough wham, Wang’s premiere video ad is fronted by none other than Chanel muse and fellow New Yorker Abbey Lee Kershaw.
We may have to start actively updating our list of the most offensive fashion ads of all time, because this one officially takes the cake. A South Korean clothing label called Lewitt has just unveiled their Fall ad campaign — a video starring Chanel favorite Abbey Lee Kershaw and shot by photographer Ryan McGinley — which features a lost-looking Kershaw determinedly scaling a building and then jumping from its roof. Naturally, her outfit changes as she falls.
Remember a few weeks ago when we gave you a sneak peak into Chanel’s gorilla photo shoot in St. Tropez? Well, the trailer for Karl Lagerfeld’s next short film, Remember Me, was released earlier today in all its model-heavy glory.
Karl Lagerfeld is at it again, this time in Saint Tropez, where he was seen shooting a short film with Heidi Mount, Karoline Kurkova, Freja Beha Erichsen, and a bevy of other bold-faced models.
We have a major crush on model Abbey Lee Kershaw, which is why we couldn’t help but post some of these gorgeous pictures, shot for Korean Vogue’s April 2010 issue.
