While the debate continues over whether Beyoncé lip-synced her “Star-Spangled Banner” performance at Monday’s inauguration ceremony, Anderson Cooper’s mind is made up. During the RidicuList segment on Tuesday night’s show, Cooper aligned himself firmly with Team B.
Anderson Cooper‘s dirty denim has been quite the hot topic ever since he confessed a few weeks ago that he only washes them about four times a year. Well, on Cooper’s eponymous talk show this morning, co-host Stacy London showed him just how dirty his unwashed jeans are.
Meggings are the zombies of menswear trends. They’re terrifying to look at, they pop up in really random places, and they never die. The term (and the ludicrous idea that they would ever, actually, in real life, become a trend) has been around since at least 2010, when they were seen walking down the Milan Men’s Fashion Week runways. And today they made their inaugural appearance on Anderson Live.
We love, love, love it when Anderson Cooper does fashion segments. Yesterday, the silver-haired anchor invited What Not To Wear host Stacy London on to his talk show, where the pair wore matching cat sweaters and discussed Anderson’s somewhat suspect method of taking care of his jeans. They also dug up old photos of themselves, but take it from us when we say Anderson’s is decidedly not embarrassing.
As easy as it is to make fun of the infamous hula hoop bag that was sent down the runway at Chanel‘s spring show, we not-so-secretly wish we had one to call our own (just think of all the things we could hang on it at the beach! Thanks for the tip Karl!)
Do you remember Sarah Burge? She’s that awful self-proclaimed “human Barbie” who gave her daughter a breast implant voucher for her 7th birthday. We thankfully haven’t heard about her in almost a year, that is, until she showed up on Anderson Cooper‘s show yesterday.
Bethenny Frankel showed off her push-up skills – and her underwear – to Anderson Cooper and a live audience during a taping of the Anderson show, to air Monday, March 19th.
Missed your chance seeing The Muppets on the big screen? Luckily, our favorite furry and fuzzy friends will soon be available on Blu-ray and DVD. And to promote the release, the grand dame herself, Miss Piggy has been making her rounds on the daytime television circuit.
Alana “Honey Boo Boo Child” Thompson and her mother June have been on a media tour of epic proportions ever since they first appeared on Toddlers and Tiaras. But today’s episode of Anderson, which was devoted to four well known pageant moms from the show, June and some of the other mothers tried to make it seem OK that they were spending gobs of money on getting their daughters ready for pageants and not on other life-enhancing things.
How we love it when the tables get turned! On Friday’s episode of Anderson, a few moms from Toddlers and Tiaras will get makeovers to look like supersized versions of their competing daughters — and they’ll get a taste of their own medicine in the process.
If you thought Karl Lagerfeld‘s “apology” was be the last you’d be hearing of AdeleGate, think again. Last night, CNN’s Anderson Cooper took the
quote machine designer to task for not only calling the singer fat, but for what read like a Top 10 list of his most famous bon mots. Cooper started by describing Lagerfeld as a “fashion designer and Edward Gorey cartoon character and chronic foot-in-mouth disease sufferer” — and it only went downhill from there. Enjoy!
Great fashion moments aren’t just relegated to great fashion people. 2011 was the year newscasters provided us with some of our favorite fashion moments — from excellent style choices to fun interviews to downright hysterical coverage.
When one factors in the amount of thought, effort, and sheer deliberateness with which stylists put together ensembles for their clients (see: any episode of The Rachel Zoe Project), the fact that Madonna wore this squeaking abomination of a suit on Anderson Cooper today is somewhat astounding.
If you didn’t already think Melissa McCarthy was basically the most awesome person on the planet, you will now. While on Anderson Cooper’s daytime talk show, the comedic actress (and clothing designer!) revealed that she was quite the enterprising fashionista back in the day. Not only did she thoroughly embrace ’80s hair trends, she used to wear turtlenecks as makeshift harem pants. Clever and thrifty!
If you’ve spent even half as much time as we have contemplating Anderson Cooper‘s silver foxiness, you’re probably curious to learn just how Cooper maintains those famous locks.
In case you’ve been looking at pictures of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, wondering how it’s possible for Adriana Lima to look sinewy and curvaceous all at once, it’s because she went on a crazypants diet. We called it ridiculous earlier this week, and anchor dude Anderson Cooper echoed that sentiment last night on CNN.
Celebrities: they’re just like us! They attend Halloween parties in silly costumes! Let’s look at them!
