While Vogue may still be looking for a replacement for Sally Singer, Glamour has snapped up T magazine’s Anne Christensen to be their new executive fashion director, replacing Xanthipi Joannides who left last month. Some context: Christensen was largely considered the frontrunner to replace Stefano Tonchi as EIC of T, but the mag poached Singer instead. So what does this mean for Glamour? And for Christensen?
Anne Christensen To Replace Tonchi At T Magazine?
Ever since Conde Nast pulled W magazine out of the Fairchild fold and back into the arms of 4 Times Square, the mastheads of fashion magazines have been playing a game of musical chairs. Through all of it, though, T has remained relatively quiet with regards to who would be replacing Tonchi at the top of their masthead. But now the new word on the street is that T’s fashion director Anne Christensen is first in line for the top spot.
