Last night, stars in both California and Paris closed out the week on an haute note in high fashion wares and fun cocktail frocks. In Los Angeles, ELLE‘s Women in Television celebration brought out small screen stars from series like “Mad Men”, “Revenge”, and “Homeland”, while across the pond, the Sidaction Gala Dinner drew fashion insiders in fresh-off-the-runway ensembles. But whose look gets your vote?
Wait a second — is this a Louis Vuitton commercial or the Da Vinci Code?!
At last night’s DKMS Linked Against Blood Cancer Gala in New York City, the ladies turned it out on the red carpet.
23-year-old Arizona Muse is certainly living up to her last name. In the past year and a half, the Arizona (ha) native has taken the fashion world by storm.
If you had asked us yesterday what skaters and supermodels had in common, we would have said that they both like guys in rock bands. Today we know better, because Swiss skate shop Doodah has released their third installment in a series called the Supermodel Deck Project.
We’ve heard of quirky media practices, but we’ve never actually encountered anything quite so peculiar as the way model Arizona Muse interacts with reporters. Last night we attended the Christie’s Green Auction and Vogue Runway to Green fashion show, and it was fancy. So fancy! The well-heeled crowd swilled champagne, bid upwards of $100,000 on items like the “Chanel couture experience“, watched Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha stomp down the runway, and got their groove on to Nicki Minaj. Fancy!
Arizona Muse may have established herself as the season’s hottest model during Fashion Week, but she’s no one-trick runway pony — the up-and-comer also landed the spring campaigns for both Prada and Yves Saint Laurent. For those of you who have yet to discover the appeal of Muse, allow us to present YSL’s spring/summer 2011 video.
One of the many things we learned during Fashion Week was that Arizona Muse has officially made it — the striking beauty’s rise to fame has been nothing short of meteoric. Now not only can she count a Vogue profile among her latest accomplishments, she is also the only model to be featured in the entire March issue of Dazed & Confused.
