Supermodel Bar Refaeli is getting lots of buzz for her Super Bowl commercial for GoDaddy, in which the camera closes in on an uncomfortable kiss between her and not exactly supermodel-esque actor Jesse Heiman. But on Leno last night, she admitted that she was just as surprised on set as viewers would be later.
Kate Upton isn’t the only model lending her considerable talents to a commercial spot on Sunday. Bar Refaeli will also be making her Super Bowl debut, in an ad for Go Daddy, a domain registration and web hosting platform.
Israeli beauty Bar Refaeli has a new project — and it’s a sex tape.
Sadly, it’s not all that rare for advertising to cross the line and present messages, intended or otherwise, that are seriously not okay. This ad for an iPhone app, starring model Bar Refaeli, is probably one of the worst we’ve seen in recent memory, and the totally effed-up nature of it was anything but a mistake.
Last night the stars came out for the MTV European Music Awards, which is basically the across-the-pond version of the VMAs. The show was held in Ireland, hosted by Selena Gomez, and attended by supermodels and Snooki alike.
T minus four days until the
fashion film extravaganza that is Cannes goes on a shlubby year long hiatus, which means it was perfect timing for some of the world’s best known models to descend onto the festival like so many expensively dressed swans. Naomi Campbell, Bar Refaeli, Doutzen Kroes, Karolina Kurkova, and new-to-us-name Bianca Balti stepped out Tuesday night in the fanciest (and tightest) of designer duds. But who looked best?
Last night, Manhattan’s most fashionable — and those who could afford tickets — converged on Lincoln Center for Anna Wintour‘s “consumer-oriented” brainchild, Fashion’s Night Out: The Show. And while we have runway pics and photos of Pharrell and N.E.R.D.’s performance coming later, let’s take a look at who made the guest list and, more importantly, what they wore.
When photos surface of celebrities before they were famous, people go wild. Whispers of, “So that’s what her nose really looks like,” to “Awww, look how cute,” circulate instantaneously. Luckily for you, we’re always on the look out for pictures of our favorite fashion icons in their days of youth. In this edition of Time Warp, we’re taking a look back at some of today’s hottest models, to see what they looked like before they stalked the catwalks.
V magazine’s June issue looks like its going to be fun-filled photo album of both summer and winter memories. First Lady Gaga journaled her life in Polaroids, and now supermodels have sent in their own picturesque postcards from sunny, seaside locales.
We’ve been waiting for months for photo evidence of the Jersey Shore spread in Harper’s Bazaar, and finally, our wishes have come true. Snooki talks hair, JWoww talks implants, and fingers crossed, Sammy will talk Ronnie. Who would have thought that we’d see Snooki’s name next to J. Mendel, Michael Kors, and Valentino?
The editors of Sports Illustrated are bringing Swimsuit fans a 256 page collection of some of the best photographs from Walter Iooss Jr.’s swimsuit photos, spanning the last 47 years.
It seems as though everyone wants to make the cast of the Jersey Shore over — or rather, make them under. But who better to hyperbolize the cast’s taste for the tacky than controversial photographer Terry Richardson? In an upcoming issue of Interview magazine, Richardson shot the boys of the Shore for a spread titled Hard Shore. Some of the most pressing questions of the past year are answered in the interview, including the origin of The Situation’s name, Vinny’s favorite pick up lines, and most importantly, what hair gel Pauly D uses — we’ll give you a hint, it’s not Kerastase.
