Beyonce Page 2
Beyonce’s interview with Oprah aired yesterday, and boy was there a lot of lady power sitting on that couch.
Looks like baby Blue Ivy’s days of flying below the radar are over. We’re surprised she made it this long.
Did you feel like something was missing from your lineup of weekend television last week? Yeah, us too, and that something was Beyoncé. Now that we’ll have had two weeks to digest her epic Super Bowl performance, however, Queen Bey is back to dominate our screens again this Saturday with a double header.
It’s Beyonce’s world, and we’re just living in it. Less than a week after her Vogue cover made its public debut, Queen B is fronting yet another mag — this time in Raf Simons‘ Dior.
At what point can we all agree that Beyoncé has successfully conquered the world? In the past month alone, the woman has sung (fine, lip synched) the national anthem at the presidential inauguration, covered the March “Power” Issue of Vogue, turned the Super Bowl into a Beyoncé concert, and announced her latest world tour, only to have the first shows sell out in seconds. Last night, the pop star hosted a premiere for her upcoming HBO documentary, “Beyoncé: Life Is But A Dream”, at New York’s Ziegfeld Theatre, and, naturally, Queen Bey was the toast of the town.
Saturday morning saw the unveiling of Beyonce’s second Vogue cover — the superstar wears black and white Givenchy to front the March issue — and today we have the full interview, spread, and behind-the-scenes video. Get ready to get up close and personal with Queen B.
The red carpet at the Grammys is always unpredictable, but this year’s Gaga-free pre-show was surprisingly tame. Nary an egg to be seen, the night’s biggest names stormed the step ‘n repeat in — dare we say it? — almost Oscar-ready ensembles.
We’re not even surprised anymore. Beyonce landed the cover of the very important March issue of Vogue, which is appropriately dubbed “Power 2013.”
From Beyoncé‘s showstopping (literally) performance to the Destiny’s Child surprise-but-not-quite reunion, last night’s Super Bowl half-time show was pretty epic. You can relive the magic in video form over here and keep reading for photographic evidence that, as Anderson Cooper has pointed out, “it’s her world and we’re just living in it”.
No matter who wins or loses tonight, at least we’ll have this: Beyoncé killed it during halftime. KILLED IT.
Less than two weeks after she not-quite-lip-synced the national anthem at President Obama’s inauguration on January 21, Beyoncé Knowles will take the stage during tonight’s Super Bowl XLVII halftime performance. Will Destiny’s Child perform with her? Will Jay-Z make a cameo? Will Anderson Cooper storm the stage in a custom House of Deréon one-piece? We don’t know. But we do know that you can watch the whole thing online right here!
This afternoon, Beyoncé held a press conference to put an end to the controversy surrounding the lip-syncing situation at the Inauguration a week and half ago. She brought down the house with a live rendition of the national anthem, and then, smirking, asked: “Any questions?” Nope, no questions. We’re all good here.
With the country still reeling from Beyoncégate, the ensuing backlash following the revelation that the superstar lip synched at the presidential inauguration, Queen Bey has but one shot to redeem herself: the Super Bowl halftime show this Sunday.
Beyonce gives us a glimpse backstage at the Super Bowl! Plus a preview of the Comme des Garcons for Hermes collection, vintage looks for NYFW, and plenty more to feast your eyes on.
While the debate continues over whether Beyoncé lip-synced her “Star-Spangled Banner” performance at Monday’s inauguration ceremony, Anderson Cooper’s mind is made up. During the RidicuList segment on Tuesday night’s show, Cooper aligned himself firmly with Team B.
We thought that Beyoncé‘s performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at yesterday’s Presidential Inauguration was breathtaking and epic, but according to the London Times, it was just a lip-synced version of a pre-recorded track.
Beyoncé totally nailed the national anthem at today’s Presidential Inauguration. Not only did her powerful voice bring down the house (yes, we know she was outside), but she looked outstanding dressed in Pucci and Dior. We’ve got a video of her performance right here so you can relive the magic.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are having an awesome Monday morning in Washington, D.C. They just arrived at the Inauguration looking nothing short of amazing, and we’ve got all the pics right here.
Say what you will about Terry Richardson, but celebrities sure seem to love him. Beyoncé took it (almost) all off for the photographer on the February cover of GQ, and this behind-the-scenes video shows Queen Bey goofing around on set, laughing with the crew, and, of course, shooting smoldering stares at the camera.
In the newest trailer for her HBO documentary, Beyoncé makes the case that she is still a normal person just like the rest of us. And we almost believe her. (Except that we don’t get to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, land GQ covers, or front H&M ads, among other things.)
