We suppose it was not a question of if, but when Marion Cotillard would pop up on the red carpet in a piece from Raf Simons‘ debut ready-to-wear collection from Christian Dior. The actress was the first to wear a dress from his couture collection at the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises back in July, and this weekend she stepped out in a black minidress straight off the Paris runway for the Rust and Bone premiere at the BFI London Film Festival.
Last night Madonna attended the BFI London Film Festival premiere for W.E. — otherwise known as her directorial debut about Wallis Simpson. And just as she did when showing off the film in Venice, the popstar-turned-director went the embellished route.
There were all sorts of events last night (the Hollywood Awards Gala, the Glamour Reel Moments event, the London Film Festival), which means lots and lots of red carpet action.
