Not only does Kate Middleton look great in photos, but she’s actually pretty great at taking them, too. She and Prince William relaunched their official website, and one of the first things they posted are pics of their recent South East Asia and South Pacific trip.
Like most responsible members of the retail community, Neiman Marcus has just launched a blog called NM Daily that gives its readers (who it hopes to convert into shoppers, no doubt) an extra layer of interaction with the people who make the national retail chain work.
You know what’s cool? Blogging. Which is exactly why Saks Fifth Avenue has gotten into the game of showing and telling and pontificating about and obsessing over fashion with its new editorial venture, Saks Point of View.
Is it a little silly for guys to be obsessed with fashion? Yes, as a matter of fact, it is. It would seem, though, that the anonymous blogger behind the brand new and wildly popular tumblr F*ck Yeah Menswear wants to love his love of fashion and make fun of it at the same time. But you can only mock someone’s steez (or lack thereof) so many times before it wears off.
For the first three seconds it’s in your browser, the new Vogue.com is a mildly refreshing change from the bare bones black-and-white minimalism of its last incarnation. After you click around for a little bit, it starts losing it’s charm. But it’s just the first day, so we’re hoping the stie will pick up in the near future.
Over the weekend, while you were brunching or shopping for a father’s day gift, Agyness Deyn started an Internet fashion magazine. It’s called NAAG (the name is a combination of letters from Agyness’ first name and her best-friend-cum-editor-in-chief Fiona Byrne‘ last name), and it covers fashion beauty and culture. Though menswear has experienced something of a revival and The Sartorialist (and his ilk of imitators) may have made the street style world terra cognita, no one, to our knowledge, has yet undertaken a proper taxonomy of menswear bloggers. Consider this our attempt.
