Did you turn on your TV screen Wednesday? If so, you probably saw Kristen Stewart. The actress certainly was a busy girl yesterday, hitting the sets of not one, not two, but three separate talk shows. This, just days after she was chatting up Jay Leno on our small screens and exchanging glances with Robert Pattinson on MTV. You’d think she had a movie to promote or something!
It’s a day of firsts for Kristen Stewart: not only did she make her first red carpet appearance for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 in Tokyo, but she also did it in fresh-from-the-runway Louis Vuitton. That lucky, lucky girl.
It’s old news that Carolina Herrera designed the sure-to-go-down-in-cinematic-nuptial-history Breaking Dawn wedding dress, but while we’ve seen the (approved) knockoff and the movie, Summit Studios has just released close up stills of it and, Twilight fan or not, this dress is gorgeous.
We’ve been wondering what Bella Swan‘s Twilight wedding dress would look like for quite a while, and now we know!
This was the week Benetton got in trouble for Photoshopping the Pope making out with a dude. Versace for H&M hysteria reached fever pitch, the Jersey Shore kids got involved in a bunch of lawsuits, and Jay-Z was named GQ‘s Man of the Year.
Breaking Dawn comes out in just two days, and we’re getting super antsy about this Bella Swan wedding dress situation. Luckily, Carolina Herrera let a few details slip at the film’s LA premiere .
Kristen Stewart’s purple sequined J. Mendel dress from last night’s premiere of Breaking Dawn, Part 1 is certainly a touch act to follow, but her co-stars in the film gave it a good try. Nikki Reed opted for a minty green Marchesa number, while Ashley Greene wore strapless red Donna Karan. Most of the men — Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Peter Facinelli — looked handsome varying shades of gray and blue suits, while Kellan Lutz went for the all-black look with a three-piece suit that didn’t do his Frat Factor any favors. Also, Willow Smith was there!
The Hunger Games trailer and Breaking Dawn, Part One premiere both in one day? It’s a veritable embarrassment of riches! Kristen Stewart, despite hurting her ankle while filming Snow White and the Huntsman, braved the step and repeat in sky-high stilettos and a J. Mendel gown with an equally thigh-high slit, a surprising commitment for an actress with a penchant for Converse on the carpet.
Alert all Twihards and/or lovers of bridal fashion! We now know who will be designing the second most-anticipated wedding dress of the year! Carolina Herrera has been tapped to create Bella Swan‘s gown for the last installment of the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn.
Last week, we heard that Zac Posen had signed on to design Bella Swan’s wedding dress in the latest installment of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn. Now, it appears that Posen is just one of many designers with their name in the ring — nine of which agreed to share their sketches with InStyle. Let’s take a look!
