Burberry Page 1
Last night, artist and fashion types joined forces to celebrate the launch of ‘do it: the compendium‘ by Hans Ulrich Obrist at The Park Avenue Armory in Manhattan.
As we learned from the Los Angeles premiere of Oz: The Great And Powerful, three leading ladies mean three times the red carpet fun. Tonight, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz, and Mila Kunis broke out some of their best press tour ensembles yet to fête the collab-happy Disney film in London. But who looked best? Well we know our pick — what about you?
Just because we don’t have a few extra Benjamins lying around for a plane ticket doesn’t mean we can’t catch the Burberry fall 2013 show in all its glory. Thanks to our friends at the iconic British brand, we’ve got a front row seat at Christopher Bailey‘s latest collection, and now, so do you! We’re livestreaming the show right here (and on our Facebook page!) at 11 AM EST, so keep this page open because you’re definitely gonna want to watch this.
A recent interview with the Burberry CCO reaffirms his status as a fashion good guy.
If there’s one thing we’ve determined from this video of Romeo Beckham posing for Burberry‘s spring campaign, it’s that it is way more fun to be a kid model than it is to be a grown-up one.
If you thought Romeo Beckham‘s first Burberry ad was cute, just wait ’til you see his second.
The Beckhams are perhaps one of the most photogenic families in Hollywood, so it was clearly only a matter of time before their 10-year-old son Romeo landed his first modeling campaign. And he’s fronting for none other than Burberry.
2012 is sadly coming to an end, and Burberry has had a great year. From having the largest Facebook fan base amongst fashion brands to winning a huge $100 million counterfet lawsuit to being part of the Olympics in London, Burberry definitely has a lot to celebrate.
We already know who took home the grand prize at last night’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards (that would be Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman), but there was no shortage of champions on the red carpet, either. Designers, models, editors, and fashion fans alike donned their best all-American duds and stepped out to strike a pose or two.
Twenty-one-year-old Cornell Neilly was arraigned last night for a bank-robbing spree across Manhattan that started in April. He carried out 14 hits for a total of $8,500, but get this: during two of them, he was caught on camera wearing Burberry, and claims that he started his life of crime in order to fuel his shopping habits. And we thought we were shopaholics!
Burberry has just won what was probably the easiest lawsuit ever.
London fashion week has a tendency to get short shrift in the context of the whirlwind that is fashion month. Squished between New York and Milan, it may be the shortest of the four weeks, but it’s home to one of the best shows: Burberry. Last fall, models walked the runway through a delicate snowstorm — who knows what we’ll see this time around. We’ve got a livestream of the entire thing up and ready. It goes live at 11AM Eastern, so make sure to tune in!
We haven’t seen much of Keira Knightley lately, so we were more than pleased to spot the actress in a Burberry number on the red carpet yesterday.
Congratulations are in order for an old British brand that started churning out cloaks in the 1850s and now has more Facebook likes than any other brand in the fashion business.
Some brands really do new and social media right. Case in point: Burberry. Flying to London to see their show may be a pipe dream for most people — and that’s okay! Because we’ve got the whole thing livestreaming right here, starting at 11AM eastern standard time. And that’s not all, because this year Burberry added Twitter and Instagram to their show-streaming arsenal.
Fragrance commercials are weird as a rule, but the new ad for Burberrry Body starring supermodel and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is weird on top of being sort of bland and also ridiculously seductive.
This was the week we welcomed Kate Middleton to the States! She looked awesome in McQueen, but her visit wasn’t without controversy. We also got our regular fashion-filled doses of Justin Bieber, Emma Watson, and Kanye — plus a surprise Sarah Jessica Parker reappearance.
Fast food uniforms aren’t known for being the most fashion-forward, but who says that has to be the case?
