Every fashion party worth its salt has a liquor company on board to keep the drinks flowing and guests happy. But what about when the party is thrown by a liquor brand helmed by a fashion designer? Well, we’re not sure there’s a precedent, but that was precisely what went down last night in a dimly lit space below the High Line, where Absolut was fêting its newly minted partnership with Johan Lindeberg, the bearded, Swedish creative director of of BLK DNM and, now, of “the first-ever, single-estate, handcrafted luxury vodka,” Absolut Elyx.
While the week’s biggest red carpet is done and dusted, Hollywood’s style stars were out on the town yesterday, decked out yet again in designer duds. So how did Anne Hathaway, Kate Bosworth, Sarah Jessica Parker, and more measure up? Let’s take a look.
Aaahhh the age-old battle: L.A. vs. New York. Does-it-all fashion designer/actress Tara Subkoff directed this little diddy featuring bold fashion maven Chloë Sevigny rolling on about her distaste for “the world’s largest waiting room.” I.e.: Los Angeles.
It’s always spring in California, and last night, celebs like January Jones, Ariel Winter, Katy Perry, and more took advantage of the great weather to support the Children’s Defense Fund at a Coach shopping party in Santa Monica.
Jessica Chastain, Chloë Sevigny, and more flocked to YSL‘s screening of Lawless in New York last night. The flick stars Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, and Chastain, who is also the face of YSL’s new scent Manifesto. As such, the 35-year-old actress wore a vintage black YSL number and accessorized with an arm full of colorful bracelets. And what about everyone else?
That’s right, 37-year-old Chloë Sevigny‘s still got it. The eternal It girl is now the face of Miu Miu for a second time, landing the starring role in its fall 2012 campaign after modeling for the brand 16 years ago.
Chloë Sevigny is selling that sick New York apartment of hers for a cool $1.7 million.

Chloë Sevigny is a pretty much the coolest chick we wish we knew, so we didn’t expect her home — which contains her amazing closet — to be anything short of awesome.
The, um, girls were out in full force for last night’s premiere of Girls.
Well, that time was last night.
The only thing we love more than Chloe Sevigny is Chloe Sevigny modeling, when she gets to combine being an actor and a lover of fashion for the sole purpose of our visual gratification. And that’s exactly what she’s doing in February issue of Interview magazine.
This was the week Karlie Kloss spoke about her Vogue Italia photos and Lindsay Lohan‘s Playboy spread leaked. This was also the week we got a double dose of Chloë Sevigny, attended some fancy parties, and saw the unveiling of the Pirelli calendar.
When it comes to closets we’d love to raid, Chloë Sevigny‘s is on our shortlist. Since we’re not quite on that level with Sevigny (yet), an adorable video tour will have to do.
Style icon Chloë Sevigny has lots of interesting things to say, which is why we read practically every interview she does. Her latest, with Bullett, teaches us all about Sevigny’s childhood, her favorite things, and the actress-designer’s feelings toward Snooki.
This is the week Fashion Month ended! Karl Lagerfeld took us under the sea and said crazy things, Anderson Cooper was mad about the Olsens‘ $34,000 backpack, and Anna Wintour brushed off Kanye. Also, WILLOW SMITH IS BACK.
Ever since Opening Ceremony‘s Humberto Leon and Carol Lim were appointed creative directors of Kenzo this summer, we’ve been dying to see what the dynamic duo would cook up. The collection was presented in Paris today, and the pair’s good pal Chloë Sevigny closed the show.
