We thought that supermodels and the Spice Girls were the only fashion-y peeps at last night’s Closing Ceremony. But as it turns out, the New Wave group Pet Shop Boys rocked the crowd in avant garde designs by British designer Gareth Pugh during their performance in the Olympic Stadium.
If you didn’t catch last night’s Closing Ceremony, you seriously missed out on a lot. The Spice Girls reunited for an amazing and totally nostalgic performance, and everyone’s favorite Brit supermodels strutted their stuff on the world’s biggest catwalk. You also missed Jessie J and Mel B (aka Scary Spice) swiping one of Jennifer Lopez‘s sparkly nude bodysuits for their appearances.
One would think that Kate Middleton would have chosen a new and sartorially amazing dress for the Olympics Closing Ceremony last night. Nope! Instead, Kate did what she does best, and opted for a repeat.
Earlier this month, we caught a glimpse at what Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson, and more models were wearing at the Olympics’s Closing Ceremony. Tonight, we got a look at the supers in action on the telly, and it was nothing short of amazing and fantastic.
The Olympics Closing Ceremony is getting almost as much press as the Games themselves these days. And with good reason: some seriously exciting stuff is set to go down in London August 12. But the most exciting as far as we’re concerned is the possible live performance by the Spice Girls!
