PHOTOS: Examining Jodi Arias’ Drastic Courtroom Makeover [UPDATED]
Over on our sister site Mediaite, all eyes are on the trial of Jodi Arias, the Arizona woman on trial for the alleged murder of her boyfriend Travis Alexander. Arias has admitted to the act of killing Alexander back in June 2008, but has stuck to a claim of self-defense, despite waffling on key aspects of her story. Now this may not sound like our usual purview here, but amongst the grisly details and lurid phone sex transcripts, there has been some chatter about Arias’ choice of hair, makeup, and attire during the trial.
Judges Crack Down On Courtroom Attire
This brings new meaning to the term “Crimes of Fashion.” Judges have begun (metaphorically, of course) accessorizing their mallets and robes with fashion police badges in the hopes of reclaiming some style order in the courtroom.
