Crystal Renn Page 1
We like lemons a lot too, Crystal Renn. But don’t you think holding a knife like that’s a little … dangerous?
Call us crazy, but gas stations have never struck us as the sexiest of places. Agent Provocateur clearly thinks otherwise, however, since their latest campaign stars Crystal Renn striking a series of seductive poses at the pumps.
While our dreams of donning a Reem Acra masterpiece are still just a fantasy, we will soon be able to spritz ourselves with the designer’s debut fragrance. The Lebanese designer is launching an eponymous scent in October at Saks Fifth Avenue, and chose model Crystal Renn to front print and online ads.
Wednesday night was a night of crushes. You see, this was the night Chanel feted Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld‘s upcoming Little Black Jacket book with a swanky exhibit opening in New York City.
Crystal Renn may have shown off her new blonde ‘do via Twitter early last week, but the hair made its red carpet debut at last night’s New Year’s in April Dance at New York’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Renn partied with fellow model Coco Rocha and designer Zac Posen (while wearing Zac Posen, natch), and while we love her ability to look high fashion fierce in real life, we’re not exactly sold on the look.
While most of the press surrounding the 2012 edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue has been about the 19-year-old “social media star” who nabbed the cover, we have even bigger news. High fashion favorite and all around awesome person Crystal Renn makes her first appearance in the issue and she looks good.
Crystal Renn and Alana Zimmer star in a circus-themed editorial for the January issue of Vogue Russia. We’d tell you the confection-colored clothing (courtesy of Chanel and Valentino, natch) are gorgeous, but Renn and Zimmer clearly steal the show.
Crystal Renn has starred in her fair share of quirky magazine editorials, but this one for Vogue Nippon sort of hits the whole concept of magazine editorials squarely in the nose. That’s because in it, in each shot, Renn wears exactly one brand, denoted by a supersized version of that brand’s logo made into a hat on top of her head.
We are huge fans of both Anna Dello Russo and Crystal Renn. As such, an editorial styled by ADR and starring Renn should be something we’re really into. We’re not.
Miss any fashion news this week? From Pippa Middleton‘s repeat McQueen dress to everything that went down at the Met Gala, we’ve got you covered. We also have the video for Lady Gaga‘s Judas, just in case you were wondering.
Crystal Renn is one of our favorite models in the world. Of all the things she is — gorgeous, intelligent, sweet — talented is perhaps the most notable. The girl knows how to strike a pose and walk a runway better than practically anyone. Exhibit A: her almost-nude, definitely NSFW covers for the summer issue of Tush.
We sort of expected to be blown out of the water by the looks at the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala last night. After all, the event is all about fashion, and last night’s, specifically, was about the creations of one of the greatest designers of our time, the late Alexander McQueen. McQueen’s designs were known for their grand scale, high drama, innovative use of materials and nods to time gone by. And the women who made the biggest impressions on the red carpet last night wore gowns that did the exact same things.
From everything we know about Kate Middleton to Kate Moss getting naked for Vogue, if you missed something last week, we’ve got you covered.
We’re obsessed with hats. From fascinating fascinators to swanky scarves tied under the chin we have long loved the colorful constructions of cloth and feathers that women put on top of their heads. So when we saw Crystal Renn wearing a variety of hats in this spread from the June edition of Vogue Nippon, we knew we had to share it with you.
Crystal Renn is as smart as she is beautiful — and she is really beautiful. We’ve always enjoyed looking at the model’s pretty pictures, but also listening to her speak about important issues in the fashion industry. As such, we were downright tickled when we spotted her at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Karl Lagerfeld‘s Magnum ice cream shorts.
Last night, New York’s finest stepped out to celebrate the New Yorkers For Children annual Spring Dance. Karolina Kurkova, Crystal Renn, Rachel Roy, and Rose McGowan each pulled out the primary color stops in their own way, but who do you think was best dressed?
Crystal Renn has snagged her very first Vogue cover in April’s issue of Vogue Mexico. Shot by David Roemer, Renn once again reveals how much of a skill modeling is. Yes, Renn has got the looks, but in this spread, it’s her movement and posing that steals the show.
