Vodianova and Valentino turned his house into a Russian winter wonderland for her White Fairy Tale Love Ball, which raised money for her organization that helps disadavantaged children, the Naked Heart Foundation. And with two notable exceptions, mostly everyone turned up in dazzling white couture dresses.

We don’t know exactly when Daphne Guinness decided to get ready for the Met Gala in a window at Barneys, but we sure are glad she did. Last night we nipped out of work a little early to watch the fashion icon prep for the ball in front of a small crowd of fashion lovers. It was ethereal and kind of creepy to watch, but at the end of it, we felt a lot closer to Guinness than we ever had before.
