Duchess Of Windsor’s Jewels Hit The Auction Block
After Daphne Guiness‘ heartfelt explanation as to why she stopped the Isabella Blow sale, we were in dire need of a good fashion-related auction. Thankfully, Sotheby’s in London came through and announced the sale of 20 pieces of jewelry (many of them Cartier) made for Ms. Wallis Simpson (a.k.a. the Duchess Of Windsor) during her marriage to Edward VIII.
