The royal couple’s trip to the States may be brief (they’re leaving today…sad face), but they’re certainly making the most of it. Last night the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rubbed shoulders with members of the Hollywood elite at the glamourous BAFTA “Brits to Watch” gala in Los Angeles.
After a successful Canadian tour full of lovely sleeved dresses, maple leaves, and only one wardrobe malfunction, Kate Middleton has arrived on American soil for the very first time. Welcome, Duchess Catherine!
Kate and Prince William‘s tour of Canada has done many things. First of all, it has confirmed the fact that the Duchess of Cambridge loves sleeves. Secondly, we now know that the couple wants kids. Yeah, neither of these are surprising things, but let’s look at the clothes!
Oh, man. Kate is really upping the royal ante here! In honor of Canada Day, she went full-on festive in the most appropriate (and literal) of ensembles.
