Today’s MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid drew stars from across the globe, and in typical MTV fashion, the red carpet was a doozy. Eva Longoria Parker hosted the show, whose attendees included newlyweds Katy Perry and Russell Brand (in their first public appearance since their Indian nuptials) and a dour-looking Taylor Momsen (when’s the last time that girl smiled?).

We generally opt for comfort (read: no heels, please), and more often than not come off the plane looking a little less than fresh (one day we’ll fly first class, we tell ya!).
