The Today Show enlisted the help of Karlie Kloss for Friday’s segment on fall’s hottest fashion trends. And why not? Kloss has been flexing her on-camera muscle hosting MTV’s House Of Style, walked plenty of major shows for fall 2012 (albeit only in Paris), and, at age 20, has already achieved veritable supermodel status (and we, unlike most, don’t use that term lightly).

In case you have been living under a rock somewhere, jeggings — which will probably go down in history as fashion’s most famous portmanteau — are a pretty hot item right now. Most stores have whole departments dedicated to them and every starlet under the sun has been wearing them. As have your average, run-of-the-mill skinny jean lovers, which is why it’s absolutely hilarious that Goldman Sachs is touting them as Fall’s Big Thing.
