This morning we promised you plenty of Cannes-focused red carpet coverage, and now you’ve got it. The film festival kicked off last night with an opening ceremony feted by the stylish likes of Uma Thurman, Salma Hayek, Rachel McAdams, and Fan Bing Bing — all of whom looked stunning and none of whom (in our humble opinion) held a candle to Ines de la Fressange, who wore embellished, flat sandals with her custom Carven gown.
