NBC’s ‘Fashion Star’ To Feature Department Store Employees As Judges
Ever since it was first announced, NBC’s Fashion Star has faced consistent comparisons to that other fashion designer competition show, Project Runway. But while the general premise is the same, host Elle Macpherson has maintained that “Fashion Star” was focusing much more on mass appeal than artistic design — and nothing makes that more clear than the choice of judges.

Japanese Trio Crashes Tom Ford’s Private Show
Wherever there’s a fashion show, there’s always someone dying to crash it. The New York Post reports that a trio of Japanese women tried — and briefly succeeded — to get into Tom Ford‘s ultra secret women’s wear presentation on Sunday.

So today we came across a video of what has been deemed “the worst fashion show, ever” by Vimeo user Rachel Timmons. Clearly, we were intrigued. Would there be falling models? Hideous styling? Pleather? Well, not quite. The video gives us a peek at a fashion show taking place in that depressing suburban mecca known as the shopping mall.
Copenhagen Fashion Week To Host Record Breaking Runway
Would you walk a runway that’s end is nowhere to be seen? For 220 models scheduled to take part in Copenhagen Fashion Week, answering “no” is not an option. Within the week of August 11-15, Copenhagen will boast what’s called the “World’s Greatest Catwalk” for a fashion show that will take place on Saturday, August 14, on the pedestrian street of Strøget. Models will have to pack a pair of heavy-duty Dr. Scholls insoles for their trip, because the “greatest catwalk” is a mile long!
