Tabatha Coffey of Bravo’s Salon Takeover had some choice words for the Black Eyed Pea’s pregnancy garb. And by ‘choice’ we mean, “Fergie, babe, what’s going here? Are you channeling Stevie Nicks at a Johnny Cash benefit down at SXSW?” Well, she was actually at SXSW, if that helps things.
‘Tis the season for worst dressed roundups (and, of course, for least dressed roundups), and it seems like the same names, faces, and truly terrible gowns keep popping up wherever we look.
When Mr. Valentino hosts a party, everyone and their mother shows up. Case in point: at last night’s Valentino: Master of Couture exhibit preview at Somerset House in London, Duchess Sarah Ferguson showed up with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in tow.
The W LOVE Hangover Ball was billed as an evening “inspired by the legendary New York vogueing scene,” so you’d be forgiven for thinking the red carpet would draw the most outré crowd of the evening. However that dubious honor definitely rests with the ARIA Awards in Sydney, Australia, which played host to a slew of outfits featuring cutouts, neon, and sideboob a’plenty.
Everyone’s favorite Dutchess with a T, Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson, is coming out with her debut line of color cosmetics with Wet ‘n’ Wild.
We’re pretty open-minded when it comes to other people’s personal style (it is personal, after all) but one rule we think people should observe universally is that their clothes should fit. Songstress Stacy Ferguson (better known as Fergie, Josh Duhamel‘s main squeeze or the chick from The Black Eyed Peas) broke that rule last night in a major way.
It’s been a while since we’ve been able to give you an awards show red carpet rundown, so we’re excited to present to you the looks from last night’s Billboard Music Awards.
This week was the week of censorship — Hillary Clinton, Lady Gaga, and Andrej Pejic were all victims. Chanel went all-out for its cruise show, Bristol Palin got a new surgically-altered look, and Kate Middleton is still a very big deal. Also, Iris Apfel, we love you!
While Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie may have made a splash at the royal wedding with their Phillip Treacy toppers, their mother Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, made an even bigger one by not being invited. And now she’s opened up to Oprah (as most of O’s guests are wont to do) by revealing that she watched the extravaganza from a jungle in Thailand and comparing herself (and her situation) to the late Princess Diana.
Fergie’s first perfume for Avon is the company’s best-selling scent, and her second is poised to become just as popular. Last week we attended the unveiling of Outspoken Intense, where we got all the dirt on the fruity fragrance.
This week sure was controversial! John Galliano was accused of anti-Semitism, Beyoncé posed in blackface, Diane von Furstenberg hired an underage model and Justin Bieber cut his hair! Also, Stefano Pilati is not leaving YSL, thank you very much.
This was the week that Fall Fashion Week started! As such, we talked to tons of cool people (Tim Gunn, Simon Doonan and Rachel Roy among them), gawked at some pretty clothes and still got our fill of gossip. Allow us to fill you in on Tom Ford, Vogue Paris, Michelle Obama and more.
We’ll admit it — we had a lot more fun ordering, waiting for and eating the grilled chicken and pesto panini we had for dinner at our local sports bar last night than we did actually watching the Super Bowl (and we use the word ‘watching’ as loosely as we possibly can). But that’s not to say we didn’t get anything out of the game. We got tons and tons of sparkle, courtesy of one Miss Stacy Ferguson, better known to most as Fergie.
We’re still not sold on how much of a thing the American Music Awards are, but they do provide us with great red carpet fodder. Last night’s ceremony saw the likes of Taylor Swift (with straight hair!), Rihanna, Willow and many more fashionable music-making ladies.
Last night’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards had Carnegie Hall bursting with so much girl power, it’s amazing the place didn’t explode. Last night marked the awards’ 20th birthday, and the star-studded event certainly did that milestone justice.
Glamour’s annual Women of the Year Awards isn’t just a pat on the back to well-known women who make a difference when they write large checks. It’s a moment when the world takes notice of what women famous and not-so-famous have done not just for other women, but for the world at large.
On a dreary Wednesday morning, there’s nothing like some gossip got get things rolling. So like something out of an issue of People Magazine circa 1991, we give you the poor-little-rich girl woes of Sarah Ferguson. Today the Daily Mail has it that Fergie — the British one — has a serious shopping problem… and by serious, we mean worse than yours.
Earlier this month we reported on a study that said blondes make more money and marry richer men. Apparently the magazine industry also thinks blondes are better for circulation.
Everyone and their mother has an opinion on retouching magazines — and now Fergie has weighed in. Fergie is Elle magazine’s May cover star — which coincides nicely with the launch of her first fragrance, Outspoken by Fergie. To celebrate the cover as well as her fragrance, Elle threw the Black Eyed Peas singer a party at New York’s Crosby Hotel, where she spoke to WWD about airbrushing in magazines.
