The fashion at the Golden Globes didn’t just stop when the show ended — it continued at the after parties. HBO, Fox, and InStyle all hosted their own star studded fetes, giving us another opportunity to gawk at pretty gowns and surprise appearances by some well-dressed Olympians. Spoiler alert: sorry, Ryan Lochte didn’t stop by.
How we’ve missed that huge smile of hers since the Olympics ended!
The controversies surrounding Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas‘s look have not stopped. First, it was the 16-year-old’s hair, and now, it’s her nose.
Well, that was quick! Just yesterday we reported that Gabby Douglas and her camp sought out celeb hairstylist Ted Gibson to freshen up the gymnast’s hair for her media appearances. Last night, the gold medalist debuted her new locks at America’s Got Talent, and we totally love it!
The Fab Five continue to make their television appearances. As much as we’ve enjoyed watching them be all cute and bubbly during interviews, their latest appearance on The Colbert Report is the best and funniest one so far.
Gabby Douglas may have won two gold medals at the Olympics, but all everyone could talk about was her hair. And now that Douglas is a household name, media fixture, and Beyoncé’s BFF, she’s enlisted the help of celeb hair stylist Ted Gibson.
Sadly, the Olympics are over, but the athletes’ are just starting on their media rounds. On Monday night, gymnastics’ all-around gold medalist Gabby Douglas had a grand ol’ time with Michelle Obama on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, and last night, she was joined by the rest of the Fab Five (or Fierce Five) on the Late Show With David Letterman.
Well, this is quite a treat: Michelle Obama and Gabby Douglas were on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night! Michelle looked as chic as ever in a black and yellow printed Bibhu Mohapatra frock from the resort 2012 collection, and Douglas looked cool in a black moto jacket, gilded skirt, and of course, her two gold medals.
Looks like we should’ve trained as gymnasts when we were younger, because the gold-winning Team USA just lived one of our dreams: they met Kate Middleton.
Beyoncé is extremely busy nowadays, taking care of her baby Blue Ivy, getting ready for a comeback, and in general, just being awesome. But she’s not too busy to write open letters to people she admires, like Michelle Obama, and most recently, the Women’s Individual All-Around gold medalist Gabby Douglas. Prepare yourselves for high levels of adorableness!
