There’s a rumor going around that Italian designer Giambattista Valli will be the next big name to work on a collection for Macy’s Impulse line. But while Matthew Williamson and Karl Lagerfeld‘s collections for the line make sense, we’re not sure how Valli’s aesthetic will translate.
In what may be the most exciting news of the day, Ungaro has finally decided to clean up the mess that has surrounded the brand by hiring a new head designer who has actual design experience — what a concept. On Sunday, Fashionista spotted a tweet from JCReport editor Jason Campbell claiming designer Giles Deacon has officially been welcomed to the Ungaro family.
