If ever there was a tough act to follow, it’s Beyoncé. And we’d feel bad for the face of H&M’s latest campaign if it were anyone but Gisele Bündchen. After all, she is the supermodel raking in the most dough, with Tom Brady and a $20 million mansion to go home to every night. So while we might be secretly wishing for more of B and her luscious curves (and of course, her new pixie cut), we can take solace in the gorgeous images from Gislele’s latest H&M campaign.
Boston tends to get a bad rap, fashion-wise. But last night there was not a North Face in sight at the opening of Mario Testino‘s first-ever stateside museum show, which drew Anna Wintour, Hamish Bowles, Karlie Kloss and many more all the way from NYC to Beantown (how glamorous must that Fung Wah bus trip have been?)
Gisele Bundchen is David Yurman’s latest spokesmodel and her campaign video is nothing short of stunning. Filmed on a beach in Malibu, Bundchen vogues for the camera bedecked in bracelets and alongside an even more enviable beauty of a horse.
Gisele may be the world’s richest supermodel, but that doesn’t mean she’s the best liked.
Gisele‘s sandy butt covers the June/July issue of Vogue Paris! Naturally, her sandy butt puts all other sandy butts to shame.
What’s the best way to celebrate winning the Super Bowl? Going to New York Fashion Week, of course! We spotted New York Giants wide receiver Ramses Barden in the front row at the Jill Stuart show Saturday morning. We talked about everything from Gisele‘s F-bomb after her husband Tom Brady lost the Super Bowl to how funny it is to watch models come down the runway.
They may have just finished building a $20 million mega-mansion, but Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady are just like any other fantastically in love couple: they send group emails to their friends urging them to think good thoughts about their significant other’s quarterbacking skills in the upcoming SuperBowl and call each other cute diminutive nicknames!
We’ve been carefully counting down the days until we start getting tired of Prada‘s spring 2011 collection, but it hasn’t happened yet. And we think Gisele Bündchen might have something to do with that. The supermodel posed in about half of the collection’s garments (and in a few pieces from Gucci and what we think is Marc Jacobs) for Numero Tokyo, and she makes these clothes look good. Like seriously good. Like we’ve never seen her look this good.
This week we mourned the loss of Elizabeth Taylor, celebrated the birth of Rachel Zoe‘s son and applauded the philanthropic nature of the royal wedding. We also heard from the likes of Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, and Lady Gaga. Not to mention, we became even more obsessed with Alexander Wang‘s adorable niece.
The full spread for Gisele‘s Vogue Paris cover is here, and we’re nothing short of obsessed. Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shot the supermodel in St. Barth’s, and the result is a set of photos that are arrestingly chic in their casualness.
Gisele has always been the master of mixing the high and the low, the couture and the commercial. She’s been a Victoria’s Secret Angel, while also being the face of Dior! As such, it’s no surprise that April’s Vogue Paris cover girl is also modeling duds for H&M.
Sometimes celebrities scrub floors, and when they do, we certainly pay attention. First Madonna got down and dirty (or clean, we guess?) for Dolce & Gabbana, and now Gisele is playing housewife for Brazilian television company Sky.
Balenciaga debuted a punktastic Spring 2011 collection in Paris on Wednesday, featuring bare-faced models in minimalist variations on houndstooth. And while the looks were eye-catching, the models stole the show. A five-months pregnant Miranda Kerr walked the runway with a veritable army of supermodels, including Amber Valetta, Carolyn Murphy, Stella Tennant, and Gisele Bundchen — who closed the show.
We really just do not know what to make of these ads for Brazilian designer Colcci featuring Gisele Bundchen. It’s pretty hard to make Gisele look bad but, well, photographer Gui Paganini — the man behind these images — managed to do just that.
On Monday, we confessed to being dog people brought you pictures of designers with their four-legged friends. And now, we bring you models with their dogs! We don’t know if it’s because models prefer their dogs to be as petite and cute as they are or because these pictures were taken shortly after these ladies got their dogs, but most of the photos feature really small pooches. Linda Evangelista‘s Enzo is the medium-sized dog in our gallery, but that doesn’t make him any less adorable than the others!
Sometimes when we look at models we sit back and wonder how people so beautiful exist. Then we sigh, and remember that one word that makes us all sleep a little better at night: photoshop. Yes, photoshop — that little tool that turns the already beautiful into the perfectly flawless. This is not the case with Gisele Bundchen.
Sartorially speaking, it’s no huge secret that military-inspired looks have become an entrenched part of spring’s wardrobe, but talk about beating a dead horse. Between G.I. Gisele and Private Werbowy covering international issues of Vogue and Harper’s, along with a slew of other salut-a-torials, we felt it our duty to call the glossies on their surplus of uniformity.
