Featuring Sasha Pivovarova and Guinevere van Seenus as two “ghostly maidens” doused in white powder and draped in designs from Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and Yohji Yamamoto, “A White Story” takes the frill and frippery of spring to an artfully icy place. But the best part of this issue might be the compare and contrast between “A White Story” and Pivovarova’s second and far smokier spread shot by Mario Sorrenti.
