16-year-old Hailee Steinfeld is gaining so much style traction these days, we’re predicting she’ll own the Hollywood red carpets before she’s old enough to buy a lottery ticket.
Wearer of latest-season Prabal Gurung and least pretentious fashion plate ever, Hailee Steinfeld, just keeps on legitimizing our obsession with her. In addition to her Spring 2014 tour de force on the Romeo and Juliet red carpet last night, she’s also scored herself the cover of ASOS magazine’s November 2013 issue. Wearing an amazing color-block coat and shiny ankle boots, she proves her ability to style-shame her seniors knows no seasonal bounds.
If there were one thing we’d try to avoid at all costs, it would be standing next to one Hailee Steinfeld clad in Prabal Gurung Spring 2014. Sorry, Taylor Swift.
Hailee Steinfeld has been making her mark on the Comic-Con scene both for her film and sartorial prowess, and she just seems to keep outdoing herself. Her latest combination, a geometric Bibhu Mohapatra Resort 2014 top and trumpet skirt, high octane nail art, and blue-shadowed eyes prove that if you’re going to go out on a style limb, Comic-Con is the place to raise the least eyebrows. Seriously, how are digital prints going to stack up on the weird scale next to superheros, hobbits, and dragon-toting Daenerys Targaryens.
Apparently the True Grit star was not made aware that there would be a high density of foliage and fairy lights on the Beverly Hills Hotel rooftop, making her pretty black and grey ensemble at first appear rather officey. The other guests in attendance seemed to be running with a Midsummer Night’s Dream: Christmas Edition theme, and most of them pulled it off. Get ready for abundant lace, and what appears to be fancy wrapping paper made into a dress.
Last night’s red carpets brought sheer shirts, ill-advised jumpsuits, and tragic floral muumuus. Need some tips on what not to wear this weekend? Here are some pretty good ideas.
A certain brunette wunderkind discusses her fashion inspiration, and looks every bit the young icon on the March 2013 cover of the Canadian magazine.
We say go for it, girl! (Though, of course, her agent might not be quite so gung ho).
And so the premiering begins for one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters. But are the ladies rising to the occasion and bringing their sartorial A-game?
This was the week we finally saw the Twilight wedding dress. We also saw offensive billboards, tween thongs, and Thanksgiving style advice. But also awesome puppies! And Muppets! And Obamas!
The Miu Miu ad featuring Hailee Steinfeld crying on a railroad track has been banned, but why? She’s not underdressed, or even inappropriately dressed. Nor is she too skinny or clutching a flower-shaped perfume bottle to her private parts or posed in a compromising position.
There’s no real peg to this story, other than the fact that it’s two of our favorite teens, Hailee Steinfeld and Tavi Gevinson hanging out at Disneyland! But basically, the photos make us happy and (in a remarkable first) actually a little nostalgic for our teenage years.
We hate to pit two of our favorite teenagers/actresses/people against one another, but we have no other choice. Elle Fanning in head-to-toe Chanel vs. Hailee Steinfeld in head-to-toe Chanel…GO!
The Glee kids are taking part in next month’s Fashion’s Night Out, and they also know a thing or two about walking a red carpet.
This week Kate Moss got the Carrie Bradshaw treatment and Kate Middleton wore a floral pancake hat. LOVE Magazine totally ruled, plus-size model secrets were exposed, and Rachel Zoe‘s baby son got us all envious. Also, OMFG Mariah Carey.
First came Elle’s, then came Chloe’s, and now we have 14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld’s supernatural Love cover and, just like the others, she’s crying. She’s also wearing a crown, lace gloves, and the most gorgeous bracelets we’ve ever seen.
This week Kate Middleton‘s $400,000 wedding dress went on display, Karl Lagerfeld unveiled his plans for Macy’s, and Harper Beckham made her Twitter (and Facebook!) debut. Also, Valentino had some things to say about Christian Louboutin and Summer’s Eve proved it really is the worst.
When it comes to teenage style heroes, Tavi Gevinson and Hailee Steinfeld rank pretty high on our current list. And last night they met! Mind-blowing!
We adored the first ad from Hailee Steinfeld‘s Miu Miu campaign, and the rest of the images certainly do not disappoint! Is it weird that we want to be a 14-year-old?
