After a long week of sartorial slam dunks for the First Lady, including a perfectly-accessorized Thom Browne coat, an embellished Naeem Khan ensemble, a true blue Reed Krakoff outfit, and a show-stopping Jason Wu gown, Michelle Obama broke out her fancy pants for one last hurrah at last night’s staff-only inaugural ball.

We don’t know about you, but we were so caught up in the excitement of Monday’s inaugural balls (and, of course, that inaugural gown) that we forgot that last night held even more excitement in the capital. President Obama honored thousands of White House and campaign staffers at one final celebration Tuesday night, and enlisted what he called a “couple of people who are pretty good musicians — Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett.”
