Last month brought news of a former Harper’s Bazaar intern suing Hearst for unpaid hours, and now it sounds like Condé Nast has implemented new internship policies.
We are looking for full OR part time interns to work at our SoHo offices from September to December 2011.
We’re seeking interns for Summer 2011. Internships run from June-August; start and end dates are flexible. Interns must be available to work in our editorial offices in NYC.
Last night, Zac Posen became the luckiest boy in the world when he made a winning bid on an internship with Martha Stewart, who is just our favorite person in the world. The designer ponied up $3,500 to spend six weeks learning from the domestic diva at a charity gala benefiting The Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai Hospital. It’s a generous donation to a worthy organization, and we’re excited to see what Posen will learn.
Alexander Wang asked his interns to doodle mindlessly on pieces of white paper for ten minutes. Then he turned those doodles into a print and used it in his spring 2011 collection. That’s gotta be like the coolest internship program in the fashion industry.
