It looks like that Hailey Clauson Urban Outfitters lawsuit may happen after all.
This was the week Kim Kardashian wedding details leaked, a lady had Damien Hirst tattoo her vagina, and the Muppets became super relevant. Also, Marc Jacobs might be headed to Dior, and Iris Apfel is getting the documentary treatment.
Jason Lee Parry, the photographer behind the now infamous image of then 15-year-old Hailey Clauson perched open-legged on top of a motorcycle, stopped by Good Morning America to defend himself against allegations made in a $28 million lawsuit filed by Clauson’s parents.
Hailey Clauson‘s parents were pissed when a “salacious” image of their 16-year-old daughter appeared on a T-shirt sold at Urban Outfitters. In fact, they were so pissed that they decided to sue Urban, two other stores, and photographer Jason Lee Parry for $28 million in damages. Now Parry is striking back.
Yesterday we reported that Urban Outfitters was being sued for selling a t-shirt screenprinted with an unauthorized photo of teenage model Hailey Clauson. But last night we learned the company that actually made the shirt had no idea they weren’t allowed to use the photo, or that Clauson was only 15 years old when it was taken.
