WWD reports that the not-so-simple act of booking, interviewing, profiling and photographing the mother monster has big impact on magazine sales. According the the Audit Bureau of Circulation, the magazines that featured Gaga in all her glossy gorgeousness sold more copies than virtually any other magazine.

On Thursday, Gucci debuted its new children’s line with an ad campaign featuring Jennifer Lopez and her twins Max and Emme. While the photos are gorgeous and the cause great (the brand is donating $1 million of the profits to UNICEF’s Schools for Africa Initiative), the post-shoot photoshopping was a little shoddy.
