Now that the John Galliano rumor mill is winding down, it’s time to focus on the question that’s been plaguing the industry ever since Carine Roitfeld announced she was leaving Vogue Paris: what will the editrix work on now? Most assumed Paris Fashion Week would lend some clues, but Roitfeld was not to be seen — other than a brief appearance at Balenciaga’s fall show. And apparently her absence wasn’t exactly by choice.
