UPDATE: Kanye’s ‘Monster’ Video As Remade By Muppets
Puppets have weirdly been on our radar as of late — there was Grover‘s Old Spice video, the “I Love My Hair” song, the Katy Perry Sesame Street debacle (and subsequent SNL appearance), and, of course, the Lady Gaga Muppet movie rumor. So it was really only a matter of time before someone combined said monster puppets and Kanye‘s “Monster” to create a viral mashup video.

Earlier this month, we posted a 30-second clip of the video for Kanye West’s new single, “Monster,” which revealed a decidedly dark theme filled with dead models as well as West, Jay-Z, and the rest of the song’s collaborators roaming around a creepy old mansion. The full video leaked today and our suspicions have been confirmed — except for the fact that what we took to be dead models are actually zombies. ZOMBIES!

In case you haven’t noticed, Kanye West has a thing for models. For a while, the only people he followed on Twitter were a group of 15 models — though now he only follows one, Sports Illustrated model Jessica Gomes – he’s rumored to be dating Selita Ebanks, and he once wrote a song that name-checked 21 models in a single verse. Now, the preview video for his new single, “Monster”, is out and in addition to featuring Jay-Z, Rick Ross, and Nicki Minaj, it stars what appears to be a cadre of dead models, with Aussie Bella Barber in the lead.
