Kate Moss Wedding Dress Page 1
Because we haven’t mentioned it before, we thought we should let you know it’s Kate Moss‘s wedding day! And as befits the nuptials of any fashion icon, the aisle at Moss’s wedding in England looks more like a catwalk than a church. But not to fret — just because the fashion is high at the wedding doesn’t mean the drama will be. Unless, of course, John Galliano gets anywhere near the gallons of vodka that will flow at the reception.
If you’ve been living under some kind of rock for the past few months, you might have missed the news that supermodel Kate Moss is tying the knot with rocker Jamie Hince next Friday. But the wedding reception will go on for a full three days, and Moss has taken every step to make sure that the celebration will be remembered as the best party in history.
If her luxe lifestyle and super cool bachelorette party weren’t any indication, supermodel Kate Moss is a very wealthy lady. So it’s understandable that her wedding registry would be chock-full of things that only other very wealthy people could afford to give as gifts. But Moss understands that not everyone who’s coming to her wedding has the bank account of a Guinness heir, so she’s included a few items people can pick up on the cheap.
So this is awkward. British fashion minders have reported that embattled designer John Galliano will be designing Kate Moss‘s wedding dress with help from his boyfriend and consultant, Alexis Roche. Which means next month, the supermodel will wed drummer Jamie Hince in a dress made by the guy who got drunk and proclaimed “I love Hitler” on video.
Where can you turn when you have two impossibly fabulous weddings to attend, but you don’t know what to wear to either? Anna Dello Russo, of course. The Vogue Nippon editor at large took to her blog to lay down the law on dressing for a spring wedding, anticipating (and quite correctly) that her site would be the first place people would flock to for advice on how to dress for Kate Middleton and Kate Moss‘s upcoming weddings.
