Big Retailers Pull John Galliano, But Not Dior
Retail operations everywhere have been quick to distance themselves from all things John Galliano-related, but the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship in New York City may have moved a little too fast. Its general manager, Suzanne Johnson, is reported to have said that the store would take everything Galliano designed off its racks and shelves. Yesterday, a Saks representative clarified that statement: Galliano’s eponymous label is out, but Dior is staying right where it is.
