Kim Kardashian Page 1
After sneaking onto the makeup market with Khroma Beauty by Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, the sisters Kardashian were slapped with an infringement case by the too-similarly named Kroma Beauty, a Florida-based brand that beat them to the punch. A preliminary injunction back in March meant that the girls’ products could not be sold at the Ulta, CVS, and Duane Reade stores that had already stocked them. Now, Boldface Licensing + Branding has opted to change the name simply to Kardashian Beauty and avoid any further drama.
We certainly weren’t the only ones who put Kim Kardashian on our worst dressed lists after Monday night’s Met Gala. After all, let’s be honest: the sofa memes practically made themselves. But designer Riccardo Tisci is sticking staunchly by his vision, telling WWD that the floral, formfitting, custom Givenchy gown was the perfect mix of romance and rebellion and that Kardashian was “the most beautiful pregnant woman” he has ever dressed.
We’ve been writing about the Metropolitan Museum of Art 2013 Costume Institute Gala for months. Specifically, that the theme this year was Punk: Chaos to Couture. When prepping for this evening, we were sure we’d be penning a ‘too much chaos!’ debrief rounding up an explosion of Sid Vicious-inspired torn denim vests. To our shock and, dare we say, disappointment, the most offensive outfits on tonight’s red carpet weren’t bad because they took the theme too far. They were bad because they completely ignored it.
It may have taken her a few months, but Kim Kardashian seems to have figured out how to dress her growing baby bump without looking extraordinarily uncomfortable. This weekend, she joined her sisters Kourtney and Khloe on a trip to Willowbrook Mall in Houston, Texas, where they launched their Kardashian Kollection at the local Sears. Naturally, such an occasion called for something tight and black.
E!’s reality stars stepped out on the black and white carpet at last night’s Upfront event in New York City, and while the night was to celebrate the network and present its future shows, all eyes were on the style hits and misses.
It’s pretty much a rite of passage for a pregnant celebrity to bare their baby bump — just look at Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, and Demi Moore. Kim Kardashian may not have landed a magazine cover to debut her bare belly, but considering how she wasn’t even loaned clothes for previous photoshoots, a cover was most definitely out of the question. So she did the next best thing: her own photoshoot.
If you’re looking to promote a healthy living how-to book, showing up to its signing flaunting near-perfect legs in uber short-shorts is probably a good way to do it.
Is there anyone the media loves to hate on quite as much as Kim Kardashian? I know I’ve taken some pleasure in poking fun at the reality star in the past, but standing in line at Duane Reade the other day, I was struck by how singularly icky the tabloids are this week in mocking Kim’s recent weight gain — you know, the one that may have something to do with the fact that she’s six months pregnant.
Are we the only ones who are surprised to hear that the Kardashians didn’t already have a line of tanning lotions?! WWD reports that the perennially bronzed trio are entering the skincare area with a five-unit “tanning system” called Kardashian Sun Kissed, which will hit shelves in April exclusively at Ulta Beauty.
We think pregnancy is the ultimate excuse for even the most fashion-conscious women to stow the stilettos, ditch the bandage dresses, and put comfort first for nine months. You’re already dealing with morning sickness and swollen ankles — why subject yourself to constrictive waistbands, too? One woman who hasn’t yet changed up her styling habits, however, is Kim Kardashian. Power stylist Mary Alice Stephenson thinks it’s time for the reality star to finally take a break.
There’s no denying that Kim Kardashian‘s style has been influenced by her baby daddy Kanye West. Instead of tacky, look-at-me outfits, she’s been sporting, well, less tacky ensembles. In a new interview with UsWeekly, the reality star fesses up to Kanye’s power over her wardrobe.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West finally made their Paris Fashion Week debut as parents-to-be at Sunday night’s Givenchy fall 2013 show.
We showed you the cover of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for L’Officiel Hommes magazine, which offered us a mighty intimate peek into the megacelebs’ relationship, and now we’ve got the full spread.
As the world waits with bated breath.
Not to be outdone by Kate Middleton‘s big Royal Baby Bump reveal earlier today, Kim Kardashian‘s first pregnant magazine cover is here! And, ok, it’s not exactly a Demi Moore on Vanity Fair moment (though stay tuned for that sometime around July, we’d imagine), but it is a relatively new look for the reality star.
Taylor Swift may have nabbed the cover, but Kim Kardashian co-stars in the March issue of ELLE. Unfortunately for Kim, it sounds like stylist Nicola Formichetti didn’t have the easiest time pulling clothes for reality star.
Haven’t heard the word Kardashian in over two days? Not to worry! We’ve sniffed out what Kim and Kanye have been up to down there in Rio de Janeiro.
Kim hits Paris in support of her new fragrance, and divulges her plans to keep her baby out of the spotlight. We’ll believe it when we see it.
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, or better known as two people who “do everything and nothing at all at the same time”, stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night to talk — what else? — babies.
