Kirsten Dunst Page 1
If Just Jared is to be believed, all Kirsten Dunst‘s been doing for the last few months is grocery shopping with her mom, carrying doggy bags with boyfriend Garrett Hedlund and going on a lot of workout dates with Isla Fisher.
Getting photographed by your boyfriend can either be the most daunting or romantic approach to smizing for the camera, but in the creative world, the latter always seems to be true. So when we learned that Kirsten Dunst had been lensed by her boyfriend, Garrett Hedlund, for Wren’s new capsule collection with Dunst’s stylist, Lula editor in chief Leith Clark, we weren’t totally surprised.
You can’t choose your family but you can choose your friends. Especially when you’re the Proenza Schouler boys and have a flock of sartorial elites practically falling at your feet.
We don’t know what was going on on the red carpet at the Los Angeles screening of Kirsten Dunst‘s new movie Upside Down, but suffice it to say it was not good. There were hipster jumpsuits, bow-adorned minidresses, sad satin blazers, and more. In fact, Dunst’s Proenza Schouler heels may have been the only redeeming quality in a lineup that went from bland to bad.
It’s stories like this that make us glad we don’t have people eavesdropping in on our lunchtime chats with our girlfriends.
We liked Kristen Stewart‘s naked Zuhair Murad Twilight gown; we could even abide the naked jumpsuit. But last night at the New York premiere of On The Road, the actress’ foray into the world of see-through fabrics went terribly, terribly wrong.
While the ladies are definitely holding down the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival, we can’t forget about other equally glitzy events. Last night, we saw Kirsten Dunst, Zoe Saldana, and Brooke Shields hit the town in New York, while Kiera Knightley, Azealia Banks, Jessie J, and Lara Stone stepped out in London. Who was best dressed? This is a tough one!
Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, and Lizzy Caplan brought their A-game on last night’s Bachelorette red carpet. Of course, with so much star power, there was some competition for best dressed. Who won and who lost?
The dresses at the amfAR Gala tonight were disappointedly subdued for such a fancy event.
Are you over Cannes yet? Well, we’re not!
This year’s Met Gala red carpet was overwhelming, to say the least. There were tons of show-stopping gowns, but we had to narrow it down to a few standouts.
Sometimes, not even Prada or Rodarte can save a red carpet. Case in point: last night’s Critics Choice Awards, which featured a host of A-list style stars and celebs wearing no shortage of high-wattage designer duds on the dreariest, most shoddily constructed grey carpet we’ve ever seen.
‘Tis the season for LA art museum events! Last weekend the Los Angeles County Museum of Art held its gala, and this weekend it was the Museum of Contemporary Art‘s turn.
September issues are by far the fanciest magazines of the year, which is why their covers are so covetable for models and celebrities alike. And in what is presumably Step Three in Kirsten Dunst’s post-rehab comeback (the first two are Get A Movie and Wear Chanel Couture On The Red Carpet), the Melancholia star snagged herself not one but two of them.
From Anne Hathaway‘s Academy Award tux to fresh-faced Hailee Steinfeld‘s embellished suit, it seems like women just can’t get enough menswear.
In a perfect world, we’d wear Chanel Haute Couture gowns all day, all the time. In the real world, we live vicariously through Kirsten Dunst, who has been killing it on the red carpet in Cannes. Following up her navy lace and teal Rodarte number, Dunst wore two back to back Chanel couture gowns — the first to amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala and the second to accept her award for Best Actress at Cannes closing ceremony.
This was the week of Cannes, Botox mom, and Lady Gaga. Also, Carla Bruni is probably, definitely pregnant, and Jane Pratt‘s website launched. And, you know, beards!
What do Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Doutzen Kroes, and Milla Jovovich have in common? Yes, they’re all in Cannes but, more importantly, they all looked awesome. Kirsten rocked polka dot Rodarte while Milla was statuesque in Prada. Doutzen and Charlotte both opted for black, though the former came in the form of a sleek, drape-y gown, while the latter was a brave, pregnant tummy-baring skirt and shirt combo. Who was your fave?
This week there was enough John Galliano and Lady Gaga news for a million blog posts, but we also managed to get the dirt on the Oscars, the royal wedding and even Iris Apfel.
