As expected, Lacoste is not happy that Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik wears nothing but a red sweater from the brand in public. In fact, they’re so upset that they want the police to intervene.
Anders Behring Breivik, the man responsible for the horrific Norway massacre, is currently holed up in solitary confinement. But he’s not donning an orange jumpsuit (or the Norwegian equivalent); he refuses to wear anything but a red Lacoste sweater.
Though the fashion world has shied away from obvious logos and labels in recent years, those brand signifiers actually carry a whole lot of weight according to a new study out of the Netherlands.
