Believe it or not, there is life (and news!) outside of fashion week. And this Sunday, while Tommy Hilfiger shows his women’s collection and Lady Gaga arrives at the Grammys in the vestibule of her choice, Miss Piggy will be walking the red carpet at the UK’s BAFTA Awards. And lest you think the original diva would settle for any old muppet duds, one very, very, very big designer has stepped up to the plate.
Marc Jacobs‘ fall ads for Louis Vuitton have been lauded for featuring three different supermodels of varying ages and hair color (diversity!): Natalia Vodianova, Karen Elson, and Christy Turlington. But while the images certainly are gorgeous, it appears the creative people behind the ads took some liberties with the laws of physics.
Katie Holmes joined fellow fashion plates Anne Hathaway and Eva Mendes at Variety’s 2nd Annual Power of Women Luncheon this week, and while they all went with day-ready prints, Holmes’ Louis Vuitton number looked a little off.
