“Kate Cleans Up” reads the boldfaced coverline on Kate Moss‘ just-released cover for LOVE‘s Spring/Summer 2013 issue short by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. And indeed! The model is lying down in a bathtub, slightly sudsy and half-immersed in the bright blue water. But what’s that on her t-shirt?
We’re glad to see that model of the moment Cara Delevingne is making a serious face on the cover of LOVE‘s “Clean” issue, if only because we were starting to get worried that she was proving the old adage “don’t cross your eyes or they’ll stay that way” true.
Elle Fanning remains the coolest tween we know (er, wish we knew), and her latest cover only furthers our case.
When Love Magazine presented readers with eight covers for their full frontal nude Body Issue, the magazine became a virtual collector’s item. So it comes as no surprise to us that for their fourth installment, they would again release the magazine in a series of eight covers. After all, it is their September issue. Go big and plentiful, or go home.
After ogling Lady Gaga‘s ethereal Vanity Fair September cover, we couldn’t help but scour the cover archives for some of nudity’s most celebrated moments — forever immortal on the front pages of fashion’s major publications.
In an industry dying to be saved, maybe a little edginess could go a long way. If Elle UK’s June 2010 cover is any indication, editor in chief Lorraine Candy thinks so as well. The magazine’s June cover displays a much more artsy aesthetic with a completely blurred and softly stunning photograph of Kylie Minogue.
