Masthead Page 1
Last year’s masthead musical chairs isn’t over just yet, and the first major change in 2013 is the appointment of Kate Lanphear to T: The New York Times Style Magazine.
The past few months have been filled with editorial changes, the most major of which was Sally Singer‘s departure as the editor of T: The New York Times Style Magazine. Her spot was later filled by WSJ.‘s top dog Deborah Needleman, and now Kristina O’Neill from Harper’s Bazaar has been tapped to head WSJ.
Sally Singer shocked the fashion industry this week when it was announced that she was leaving her gig as editor-in-chief of T magazine. Now, we get word that girl crush Eva Chen is leaving Teen Vogue after more than six years.
It was only a matter of time before the changes began rolling out at W Magazine. When the newly appointed editor in chief, Stefano Tonchi, was announced, and made comments about changing the very essence of the publication, more changes on the masthead were bound to happen.
WWD announced that Dennis Freedman, W’s creative director for nearly twenty years, would be leaving the magazine.
Earlier this week, we reported that Stefano Tonchi would be replacing Patrick McCarthy as Editor In Chief of W magazine. Now the inevitable questions arise: what will W look like with Tonchi as Editor In Chief?
Stefano Tonchi — former editor of T: The New York Times Style Magazine — has just been named the Editor In Chief of W Magazine.
André Leon Talley’s role at Vogue is undergoing some interesting changes.
