Natalia Vodianova Page 1
The Russian supermodel rocks a tan to aspire to. Is summer here yet??
Beauty, business sense, and a heart of gold: supermodel Natalia Vodianova took advantage of all the fashion superstars making their way to Paris this week, and debuted her new shoe collection, the proceeds of which go to benefit her Naked Heart Foundation.
It’s always heartwarming to hear when stars do something good with all their power (and, let’s be honest, money). Today, Beyoncé, Leona Lewis, and Natalia Vodianova make helping others a priority, and share the spotlight with an array of philanthropic efforts.
Other than saying “You’re welcome for providing your daily LOLZ”, we will present this to you without comment. Because there really are no words to adequately describe this. Happy Saturday!
We all know that bad Photoshopping can lead to some seriously hilarious results. Natalia Vodianova’s GQ Russia cover takes things to a whole new (and very disproportionate) level.
Natalia Vodianova‘s six-year-old daughter Neva is making a pint-sized splash in the modeling world, and it’s for her mom’s charity.
Natalia Vodianova has taken to Facebook to defend those “it’s better to be skinny than to be fat” comments from last weekend’s Vogue Festival.
As slow as August is, it is good for one thing: tons and tons of September issue rollouts. Today we have some international editions that are chock full of supermodels. But which one is best?
We were sad to hear about Natalia Vodianova splitting from her husband Justin Portman earlier this summer. We had read so many articles about them and their three beautiful children! We believed in their love! Alas, it looks like the supermodel has traded in a billionaire for a billionaire’s heir.
Paris Couture Week is nothing without parties, and the one model Natalia Vodianova threw at Valentino Garavani‘s Paris home, the Chateau de Wideville. Vodianova and Valentino turned his house into a Russian winter wonderland for her White Fairy Tale Love Ball, which raised money for her organization that helps disadavantaged children, the Naked Heart Foundation. And with two notable exceptions, mostly everyone turned up in dazzling white couture dresses.
When we learned Naomi Campbell was set to appear in Givenchy’s fall campaign, we were curious. When we heard last week that she’d be roaring in the ads and looking like a “dark ’50s pinup girl”, we just got downright excited. So here it is, the first look at Givenchy’s fall campaign, but really, who’s looking at the clothes?
We can’t wait to see the day when unretouched photos are about as exciting as day old bread, but in the meantime, Vogue UK has published a set of black and white images featuring models like Raquel Zimmermann, Natalia Vodianova, and Kirsty Hume wearing nary a stitch of makeup and shot completely au naturel.
In the past year, the world’s 10 top-earning models made a combined $112 million. $45 million of that was made by Gisele Bündchen alone.
If Natalia Vodianova invited us to a slumber party, we would totally attend. Wouldn’t you? Elle Fanning, Hailee Steinfeld, and Chloe Moretz sure would.
It’s only fitting that the May issue of Vogue UK is totally and completely royal wedding-obsessed. Not only is there a feature on Kate Middleton (who they call Catherine), a piece on fashion brides, and guide to being a perfect wedding guest, the magazine also went all out when it came to the cover.
Oh, the things we learned this week! Kanye digs women’s Balmain, Jean Paul Gaultier thinks Gaga rips off Madonna and Willow has great manners. We miss Alexander McQueen, and so does Nick Knight. Unrelated: Queen Elizabeth‘s panties are a thing you can own.
We don’t follow sports quite as closely as our friends over at Sportsgrid, but this item caught our eye: Natalia Vodianova helped Russia secure its bid to host the 2018 World Cup. And that’s only after she became the ambassador for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
In what we have to imagine is an unprecedented coup, that sparkly gold Balmain dress has landed a seventh cover. Yes, count it: seven. The same dress that Natalia Vodianova infamously wore sans smooth legs is now also on the cover of December’s British Elle, worn by Anne Hathaway. Did we mention this is the dress’s seventh cover appearance? (That’s almost double the amount of covers that appliqued Miu Miu number had!) Like we said, unprecedented.
Over the summer, blogs were breathless over an appliqued Miu Miu dress which managed to land four covers, but a gold embellished number by Balmain has topped that number by two. On top of that, Natalia Vodianova wore that same dress last night — and accessorized it with some gloriously hairy gams. Quel horreur!
