What is it with these network news people and their habit of repeating pants? First Anderson Cooper confesses to only washing his jeans four times a year, and now NBC foreign correspondent Michelle Kosinski has been donning the same pair of trousers for nearly two weeks and documenting the adventure on her Facebook page.
Today’s local news gem involves a kid in a banana costume, a reporter in a grape costume, and the worst/best TV news script of all time.
NBC revealed today that speculation about its new fashion reality show wasn’t all that speculative. Ben Silverman, who brought us The Biggest Loser and The Office, says the network is moving forward with Fashion Star, a Project Runway-esque show that will try to find the next big designer dying to break out of obscurity.
Word on the street is that NBC is casting another (yes, another) fashion reality show from the original producers of Project Runway. It more or less follows the same guidelines as the original show, with a slightly different grand prize: designers compete on a weekly basis to have their line produced for a major national department store. OK. Sounds like fun! Here’s the problem though: it’s totally been done before.
