Nicole Kidman Page 1
Poor Nicole Kidman took a well-documented tumble when she was going back to her room at the Carlyle Hotel after the Calvin Klein show yesterday. Apparently repeat offending douchebag paparazzi Carl Wu, who was trying to take the actress’ picture from his bicycle, got a little too close and slammed into her instead.
Nicole Kidman basically has two personalities. So it only makes sense that when she lands a cover for Vogue Germany’s August 2013 issue, she should get two versions.
Even Nicole Kidman is jumping on the thigh-high-boots bandwagon!
It seems that Nicole Kidman has caught some of that Nashville fever, and she wears it well. The Oscar-winning actress stars in Jimmy Choo’s Fall 2013 campaign, which was shot in the Music City the day after she attended the We’re All for the Hall concert hosted by her husband Keith Urban to benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame. In the first of the two ads, Kidman sports a new razor-sharp cropped hair cut, with a bolder shade of red than we’re used to seeing, while donning a very film noir trench coat dress, scarlet cage heels, and a leather clutch. In the second, she’s sitting in a vintage convertible in a body-hugging black shift, showing off a pair of moss green leather ankle boots that have us aching for fall.
We’ll admit it, we’re not huge country music fans. We’re not tiny country music fans, either. But we are into any event that can somehow bring Nelly, Lisa Marie Presley, and Kellie Pickler together on one red carpet. That event was the The CMT Music Awards last night, and we’ve pulled together some of the evening’s most notable looks.
The Cannes Film Festival drew to an end this weekend, and oh, what a glamorous ride it’s been. From perfectly pared-down looks to full-on, look-at-me show-stoppers, the red carpet offerings have run the gamut, and this weekend’s Closing Ceremony and Zulu premiere was no different. Nicole Kidman cemented her Most Sophisticated title in an elegant Giorgio Armani column, while Laetitia Casta appeared to have sprouted wings, and one attendee got a little too carried away with her slit-up-to-there gown.
Nicole has been burning up the Cannes red carpet in her usual “looks to wow,” but at today’s Venus In Fur premiere, Nicole showed up with a hairstyle to beat all braided styles.
The Cannes Film Festival is winding down, but we’re holding on to its unparalleled fashion for as long as we can. In our latest round-up, we find that Nicole Kidman has taken the cake for the most showstopping moment, while Rosario Dawson made us think twice about the peplum.
It was quite the weekend over in the French Riviera, with red carpet favorites like Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard, and Zoe Saldana stepping out to fête a host of films. Did their fashion picks up the ante at the Cannes Film Festival? Read on to find out.
If you saw our post earlier today about Rooney Mara landing her first-ever campaign as the face of Calvin Klein’s upcoming summer scent, then you might accuse us of burying the lede. Because last night CK also happened to hold one of the most glam parties to come out of the Cannes Film Festival this year.
Photocall attire is fine and dandy (especially when it’s as good as today’s offerings), but the real action from the Cannes Film Festival doesn’t start until the first star hits the red carpet at the Opening Ceremony. And tonight’s is shaping up to be a stunning showing — even if the dresses are in danger of getting a little drenched in the downpour.
If the first looks to come out of the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival are any indication, we’re in for a real treat from the French Riviera — albeit a rather monochromatic one.
Fashion designers have apparently been all in a tizzy about the lack of stylish leading ladies set to headline this year’s Cannes Film Festival. If the rumors are true, however, one jury member is poised to change all that. And without swaths of other Hollywood femmes competing for the limelight, it’ll be a great chance for her to bring her A-game to the red carpet. So, what should Nicole Kidman wear? Here are our picks.
Two gowns, two gals, two galas. And while both wore black, Nicole Kidman and Kerry Washington delivered two very different looks.
Since the Oscars are next Sunday, we didn’t expect major celebs to make appearances on the red carpet last night or designers to lend out their very best gowns to the stars. Well, we were totally right.
No one arrived in an egg at this year’s Grammy Awards, nor did anyone bring a fake Pope as a date, but that’s not to say that there weren’t some WTF moments on the red carpet tonight. Here, in our humble opinion, are the worst of the bunch.
It’s rare to see stars wear anything from last season, which is why Cate Blanchett looked so refreshing (and not to mention va-va-voom) in Armani Privé from the designer’s spring 2009 collection at the AACTA Awards in Sydney, Australia on Tuesday.
Jessica Alba proved her reliability as a red carpet superstar at the 24th Annual Producers Guild Awards last night, but other stars didn’t fare so well. See the photos of who fashion flopped last night.
2012′s most recognizable faces went low-key and messy for the W Magazine shoot, and shared some at times surprising anecdotes.
Nicole Kidman fronts The Hollywood Reporter‘s Sundance issue, and is it just us or does she does look like Taylor Swift on the cover of February Vogue?
