We all know that Diane von Furstenberg loves life, as evidenced by her Twitter tales of flying over the Great Barrier Reef and attending Raf Simons‘ Dior spring 2013 show, among other things. But in an interview with W mag, the 65-years-young designer hints that her life in the ’70s was even more fun than her present day adventures.
Kate Upton‘s Vogue Italia cover is quite a coup for the model, and certainly gives her more street cred with the fashion pack. But she just can’t break free of the things her mama gave her, and the mag’s cover and editorial hones in on Upton’s best assets — which certainly isn’t a bad thing.
Well, Kate Upton has finally done it — the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model has landed her very first Vogue cover. The buxom blonde fronts Vogue Italia‘s November issue, which is no small fashion feat, especially for a model once deemed “too obvious” for the likes of Victoria’s Secret.
Kate Moss looks like she got caught in a very fashionable tropical storm on the November cover of Jalouse. Dressed in a Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama raincoat, the super (and her perfectly tousled hair) poses in the midst of some artfully placed palm fronds. Frankenstorm Sandy, this is not.
You heard it here first, kids: Cheetos are the hottest trend this season.
Can you guess who it is?
Our girl crush Solange Knowles fronts the November issue of Elle South Africa, and the cover is so bright that we had to dim our laptop screens. But really, we mean: we’re obsessed.
This might just be the most mind-boggling magazine spread we’ve seen in a while — notorious perv Terry Richardson has photographed Oprah Winfrey for Harper’s Bazaar. And get this — she’s fully clothed!
A red hot and possibly pissed off Rihanna covers the November issue of Vogue, and in a wide-ranging interview (one that, thankfully, doesn’t start off in some low-key restaurant), she tells the mag all about her dating life (or lack thereof) and, of course, Chris Brown.
Last month at Annie Leibowitz‘s art show in Ohio, a fan asked the legend if she was photographing any magazine covers. Instead of giving a cookie cutter response or not answering all together, Leibowitz dropped the bomb on not one, but two major Vogue covers.
Leandra Medine, a.k.a The Man Repeller, got married back in June, and while we had all the deets on her big day, we were left wondering about her man. Of course, Medine’s family and friends know who Mr. Man Repeller is, but for the rest of the world, he’s a mystery. Thankfully, Town & Country solves that problem with a feature on the pair in its November issue. So, who’s the lucky guy?
While the fashion industry is certainly guilty for championing skinny models and promoting unhealthy body proportions, plus-sized beauty Robyn Lawley is out to make everyone aware that beauty and size are not correlated to one another. Case in point: her latest bikini photoshoot for Cosmopolitan Australia‘s November issue is seriously sexy and stunningly beautiful.
Sofia Vergara plays the hilarious Gloria on Modern Family, but she’s equally as funny in real life. In Lucky‘s November issue, the voluptuous Colombian chats about career, designing for K-Mart, and of course, her bod.
One of our favorite Girls, Lena Dunham, covers the November issue of ASOS Magazine in a gray tee, houndstooth skirt, cool arm candy, and a spiked headband.
After yesterday’s reportthat President Obama had sat down for an interview with Glamour editor in chief Cindi Leive for the mag’s November issue, the consensus around the fashion blogosphere was pretty much “good for Glamour!” and, well, that’s about it. To the online political media, however, it was another story all together.
A relatively unknown Bollywood actress by the name of Sherlyn Chopra is making history as the first Indian woman to strip down for Playboy. How’d she skyrocket to naked fame? By writing to the mag that she wanted to. So this is how people are getting famous these days — by literally asking for it.
