We almost want to start a Tumblr called “Anna Wintour Et Al.” While there might have been a lot of celebrities hanging around the tents during New York Fashion Week, the Vogue editrix was undoubtedly the star of the show.
Harper’s Bazaar‘s Senior Fashion Market Editor Joanna Hillman (we know, long title, can you imagine what her business cards must look like?) is tired of seeing people dressed like clowns — or worse, trend seekers.
Justin Timberlake (yes, that Justin Timberlake) made the most cogent statement we’ve heard all week at Oscar de la Renta‘s spring runway show Tuesday evening, where he told us, “When you come to see Oscar’s show, you’re looking for romance.” And no one in the audience had to look very far for that at all.
Don’t believe the hype: fashion editors sitting in the front rows at major runway presentations aren’t out to get each other. Elle’s Robbie Myers and Glamour’s Cindi Leive told us last night at the Tommy Hilfiger show that their interactions are generally quite pleasant.
Before Sunday night, Styleite only knew Tommy Hilfiger‘s rapper son Rich Hil through his underminey profile in The New York Observer. All that changed when we ran into him at his father’s spring 2012 fashion show.
