We’re still digesting last night’s Thanksgiving feast, but the Obamas are getting a head start on the holiday season with the official White House Christmas tree. Michelle, Malia, and Sasha were on hand to receive a 19-foot Fraser Fir from North Carolina today and, of course, the trio looked fab doing so.

This week the Obamas wore awesome things, Elizabeth Taylor‘s jewelry sold for a whole lot of money, and Courtney Love got evicted. We also learned that Meryl Streep is a total kickass feminist, and that Fashion’s Night Out is unfortunately here to stay.
Obamas Totally Not Invited To Kate & William’s Wedding
That’s right, Michelle and Barack are getting the royal snub. The Daily Mail reports that since Prince William isn’t heir to the throne yet (that distinction belongs to his father Prince Charles), his wedding won’t be considered a “state occasion.” As such, him and Kate have decided to leave the Obamas off the coveted guest list.

This week Carine shocked the fashion world by stepping down from Vogue Paris, Nicole Richie‘s wedding dress was a thing we coveted and Kate and Will got called out on their Photoshopped pics. Whatever, we’re just really glad we don’t work for UBS.
