We had serious withdrawal symptoms after the London Olympics ended, but we’re already excited for the 2014 and 2016 games in Sochi, Russia and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil respectively. One of the things we look forward to most at the Olympics are the opening and closing outfits worn by the athletes. Now, H&M has announced that it’s designing outfits for Sweden’s Olympic and Paralympic teams at both summer events.
Whether it’s fancy tuna pasta, baked sea bass, jerk pork, or chicken wings, it’s safe to say that we’ll take second helpings of whatever Jourdan Dunn is serving up. In today’s installment, the charming Brit tackles Cantonese duck, jasmine rice, and bok choy — in other words, a downright delicious sounding dinner.
How we’ve missed that huge smile of hers since the Olympics ended!
As do we, Allyson, as do we.
The controversies surrounding Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas‘s look have not stopped. First, it was the 16-year-old’s hair, and now, it’s her nose.
Pretty much any video content of Ryan Lochte talking is gold-medal worthy, and we’ve got plenty of it this morning.
Well, it’s about time Ryan Lochte made his post-Olympics late night debut! On Thursday, the hunky Olympian finally stopped by The Tonight Show With Jay Leno dressed in a sharp navy suit, gray shirt, and copper tie.
Well, that was quick! Just yesterday we reported that Gabby Douglas and her camp sought out celeb hairstylist Ted Gibson to freshen up the gymnast’s hair for her media appearances. Last night, the gold medalist debuted her new locks at America’s Got Talent, and we totally love it!
We had so much fun looking at all the beauty looks from the first week of the Olympics that we had to follow-up with the best hair and nail art from the second half of the games. Track and field gold medalist DeeDee Trotter made a statement with three different beauty looks, while beach volleyball stars Misty May Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings gave their tips an American flag makeover, and rhythmic gymnasts put their best faces forward.
By now, everyone has probably seen Karlie Kloss and Ryan Lochte‘s Olympic-themed photoshoot in the June issue of Vogue. You know, the one that didn’t sell so well on the newsstands. But did you also know that Kloss and Lochte have developed quite a chummy relationship ever since the shoot?
They neglect, however, to address why it is only offered in women’s sizes.
The Fab Five continue to make their television appearances. As much as we’ve enjoyed watching them be all cute and bubbly during interviews, their latest appearance on The Colbert Report is the best and funniest one so far.
Gabby Douglas may have won two gold medals at the Olympics, but all everyone could talk about was her hair. And now that Douglas is a household name, media fixture, and Beyoncé’s BFF, she’s enlisted the help of celeb hair stylist Ted Gibson.
Seriously, Nike? Women just won two-thirds of Team USA‘s gold medals at the Olympics and this is what you come up with? McKayla Maroney is not impressed.
As we’ve learned over the course of this year’s Olympic games, many of the athletes competing could be gunning for careers in fashion just as well as they are for the gold. They’ve been featured in Vogue, they wear Alexander McQueen, and they flash some sweet grillz. Just kidding about the last one! Still, it seemed appropriate to do a roundup of Olympians past and present looking snazzy on the red carpet.
Sunday’s Olympic Closing Ceremony cannot come soon enough. SPICE GIRLS, you guys!
Track and field gold medalist Jessica Ennis is quite possibly the world’s fastest fashionista. She showed up to a VIP event at Omega House in London wearing a lovely coral Alexander McQueen frock, which means she just won some real style cred.
Looks like we should’ve trained as gymnasts when we were younger, because the gold-winning Team USA just lived one of our dreams: they met Kate Middleton.
Looks like Ryan Lochte isn’t going to be staying ‘under the profile’ for long. Then again, did he ever?
